Our Wire Transfer Specialists are active members of the wire department by performing various duties relating to the Bank’s wire transfer function, including all aspects of the function – initiation, verification and release of wire transfer to meet the established cutoff times.

Essential Duties:

• Perform Start of Day Balancing
• Adhere to Outgoing and Incoming Wire Cutoff
• Perform End of Day Balancing
• Process Incoming and Outgoing Wire Transfers
• Process Incoming and Outgoing FedWire Service Messages
• Process Incoming and Outgoing AMEX Emails
• Communicate with and support other bank personnel who are processing wire transfers
• Perform contingency wire processing when primary wire services are down
• Understand and update various Wire Transfer daily logs and documents

Requirements:

Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting normally required.

Skill(s): Must demonstrate strong communication skills: proficient analytical and mathematics skills; excellent interpersonal relations skills; proficient PC skills; a comprehensive knowledge of all bank forms and documents used in processing wire transfers; a working knowledge of bank consumer and business products and services for wire transfers, along with the operating policies and procedures that impact these products.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a financial setting preferred; customer service normally required.
