JOB DESCRIPTION

• Hour: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Pay Rate: $20.72 – 25.00

General Summary

With moderate supervision, coordinate and support HR Training in the administration, implementation, and tracking of various training programs.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate all aspects of HR training to ensure training programs run smoothly and effectively; coordinate logistics and administrative functions including enrolling attendees and related correspondence, reserving conference room/equipment, handling set-ups and tear-downs
• Coordinate all aspects of HR training related projects such as Jr. Achievement, wellness topics, community education and selected external training events; coordination includes working with business partners and vendors, developing communications, and handling logistics
• Prepare presentation materials to support training projects including binders, handouts, presentations and charts
• Manage the scheduling of training rooms and the use of training equipment for HR activities
• Update and maintain the on-line training calendar to ensure current and accurate information to users
• Compile and maintain training data, including electronic records, files and reference materials, to ensure current and accurate record keeping and reporting; ensure the security and confidentiality of records
• Manage the Corporate Training Library to ensure items are checked out and returned in a timely manner, maintain accuracy of inventory
• Maintain and order training materials and supplies at adequate levels

Job Specifications

• Typically has the following skills or abilities:
• One to two years of high level administrative experience including experience coordinating events and/or training projects
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service in an office environment
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with vendors, subject matter experts, business partners, and customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to perform detailed work
• Ability to work with confidential human resource information
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications

Working Conditions

• The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust etc.
