**Temp Accounting Coordinator (Remote)**The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for complex data entry. The Coordinator will be taking data from Excel spreadsheets and entering it into the pricing system. The complexity lies around analyzing the data, the rules for the data, multiple pricing systems, and accuracy of the data. The right person for this job will be very detailed, organized, swift, and accurate. The Coordinator is also relied on to catch errors in the data and correct them.+ This is a 3 month assignment that has the possibility of an extension+ The accounting coordinator is a remote (work from home) position+ Working hours are 9:00AM-5:30PM EASTERN STANDARD TIME, Monday – Friday+ Wage is $18.00-$25.00, depending on experience**Responsibilities**+ Process a high volume of data on a daily basis+ Verifies the accuracy of data presented+ Identifies and resolves any errors detected+ Enters data from spreadsheet into pricing system software+ Utilize Excel spreadsheets to obtain data (cutting and pasting)+ Performs other various data entry and accounting duties as requested**Requirements**+ 2+ years similar experience OR finance degree with less experience+ Possesses familiarity/knowledge of basic accounting terminology, concepts, and manual or automated filing systems+ Proficient with computers+ Ability to learn new software quickly+ Strong data entry skills (speed and accuracy)+ Excellent attention to detail with proven accuracy+ Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities+ Effective and efficient time management skills+ Very Strong organizational skills that are key for this position+ Ask your recruiter about any required screeningsThe best fit for this position is someone that is going to take notice of errors and ask questions if something doesn’t look right. They will be confident in the integrity of the data they have processed. Moving swiftly is important, but data must be accurate. There will be hands on training along with information provided during training. There will be a lot to remember or refer back to as data is processed.
