We are looking for someone to come in and grow our Media Sciences team. What is Media Science We define Media Science as the consultative group attached to our cross-agency data science and engineering group, which is charged with helping clients identify, create, and operationalize statistical and machine learning models in the pursuit of better media outcomes.
You should be comfortable with media-mix modeling, forecasting, attribution, Ai, quantitative research and working with clients to build roadmaps. Additionally, you should be excited about leading a team that we want to grow, defining capabilities, solutioning and scoping, and working collaboratively with new business.
While this role will be dealing with technical solutions, this is a leadership role. We expect people who are interested in this role to be team players, collaborative, visible and be highly proactive in developing the vision and capabilities of the team. A big part of this role will hinge on the applicant’s ability to work with other departments, especially media, to create a vision for the future of this group and work with client teams to put sufficient and innovative modeling systems in place.
We are not looking for the most technical person we can find, and while we do want technical knowledge and experience, one of the most important aspects of this search is to bring on a high EQ leader that values leadership, teamwork and problem solving.
While the responsibilities of this role will evolve, the initial 90 days will be around taking stock of the network and recommending a roadmap to build out the proper vision and staff model for what’s next. This role will need to spend time building sales collateral and listening to stakeholders to understand where to design capabilities around common client questions. Additionally, this role will be managing and growing a highly important team, maintaining core capabilities, attracting new talent, participating in new business and streamlining delivery. This role will have a high degree of authority in how this team grows.
This role will have visibility to a very senior audience going up the CEO of the Americas.
