We are seeking skilled SQL developers who have strong technical skills as well as mentoring skills required to guide others from a technical perspective. This position will require that the candidate work together not only with other developers but also with business analysts/ Product owners in the development and enhancements of the DW/BI system. MIS works in an agile environment and has new releases at least twice a month.

What You Bring to the Table

At least 10 years of Microsoft SQL Server ETL development experience

Extensive experience with T-SQL coding and stored procedure development

Extensive experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) development

Extensive experience with performance tuning (deciphering execution plans etc)

Database and SQL performance tuning, troubleshooting skills

Knowledge of change data capture (CDC) in SQL Server

Knowledge of Data warehousing concepts

Knowledge of data modeling and relational database design

Knowledge of reporting BI Tools like MicroStrategy

Excellent communication skills

Familiar with full life-cycle in a Sarbanes Oxley regulated environment

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Skills

Data warehousing in SQL Server for trading data in order to report it into a BI Tool (MicroStrategy)

Experience with working on Cloud based platforms

Ad-hoc data mining in support of the business

Assists with end user support and enhancements

Provides billing/finance support for monthly/quarterly closes
