SITE INSTRUMENTATION/AUTOMATED CONTROLS TECHNICIAN
Interview Position Only
This position will be re-evaluated after 6-9 months
PRIMARY ROLE:
– Controls & Instrumentation
– To continuously improve the site s automated controls systems
– Implement operational controls/instrumentation upgrades and enhancements
– Build maintenance and operation technical capability through controls training
– Work with integrators to ensure control standards are met
– Evaluation of plant data monitoring systems to support operational troubleshooting
NOTE: This position is not a replacement for routine maintenance mechanic troubleshooting and repair responsibility of controls and instrumentation. Rather the position is designed for focus on advanced troubleshooting, programming, and controls improvements/training.
JOB DUTIES/EXPECTATIONS:
– Plan and implement control systems upgrades.
– Develop control systems to support operations and maintenance
– Develop and maintain Automated Controls Maintenance Program
– Actively involved with controls and related issues
– Develop critical spare parts inventory for all related equipment
– Provide basic instrumentation and hardware training
– Continuously expand knowledge and skills to stay proficient with all systems
NOTE: Since this is an advanced technical position, the job expectations and responsibilities may evolve as technology and plant business needs change as outlined by the maintenance resource or BUL.
