We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to take Yardzen’s product experience to the next level. You’ll launch and maintain platform experiences that increase customer delight and engagement, cultivate innovation, and drive value across the customer journey. The ideal candidate knows how to break down complex features and anticipates the needs for many different types of users (customers, landscape designers, internal team members, contractors, etc.).

This is a critical cross-functional role that will have a meaningful impact on the Product team. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Data, and Operations and your work will have significant exposure to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a contributor to Yardzen’s Product and engineering culture by owning and managing the different phases of the product life cycle process
• Manage and prioritize multiple product features and projects simultaneously that are in different stages and with different sets of stakeholders
• Comfortable managing your day-to-day tasks independently
• Collaborate with the Engineering team from start to finish on complex product features by gathering and preparing requirements, scoping and defining “MVP”, selecting a technical approach, writing JIRA tickets, testing in Staging and Production environments
• Coordinate with the Senior Product Designer on design requirements and ensure that product designs are reviewed, approved, and engineering-ready
• In partnership with the Engineering Manager, manage the day-to-day activities of the Engineering team members
• Assist/host agile product development ceremonies like daily standup, planning, retros, breakouts, etc.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and communication with key stakeholders and team members, including Marketing, Engineering, Data, and Operations, to ensure successful product and feature releases.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to ensure a cohesive customer journey cross-platforms
• Partner closely with Marketing to ensure consistent product positioning and branding cross-platforms
• Be the voice and advocate for Yardzen’s customers: Conduct market research, gather customer insights, and analyze competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
• Monitor product performance metrics, conduct data analysis, and gather feedback to make data-driven decisions and optimize product performance.
• Manage and own the content management system (CMS) and publishing process.
• Deep understanding and knowledge of Marketing needs for websites and webpages
• Prioritize and execute web A/B tests to measure the impact of changes and further optimize performance and increase conversion rates

About you:

• Proven track record of at least 5 years in product management roles, including experience in D2C and/or marketplace platforms.
• Experience product managing AI or data features are a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with a data-driven and customer-centric approach to decision-making.
• Proficiency in product management tools, agile methodologies, and project management techniques.
• Experience with Jira, Figma, Miro, Wordpress, Maze, HotJar, Typeform, Squarespace, Slack, Zapier, Split.io are a plus
