Senior Manager, Platform Engineering

We are currently seeking Platform Engineers who are enthusiastic about using emerging technologies to create and support DevOps tools. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in driving a major transformation within our company.

General Responsibilities:

– Lead and mentor a team of engineers responsible for our critical IBM MQ services
– Collaborate with product owners to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios
– Ensure the quality, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
– Stay up-to-date with technology trends, experiment with new technologies, and be an active participant in technology communities
– Encourage innovation, diversity, teamwork, and outside-of-the-box thinking

Basic Qualifications:

– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
– At least 6 years of experience with implementing, configuring, and optimizing IBM WebSphere MQ
– At least 4 years of experience in people management

Preferred Qualifications:

– 8+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ
– 3+ years of experience with AWS
– 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

Salary Information:

– New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $195,200 – $222,800 for Sr. Manager, Platform Engineering

Please note that salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours.
