Senior Manager, Platform Engineering

We are looking for Platform Engineers who are passionate about using emerging technologies to create and support DevOps tools. As a Platform Engineer, you will be at the forefront of driving transformation within Capital One.

Responsibilities:
– Mentor and lead a team of engineers responsible for our critical IBM MQ services
– Collaborate with product owners to understand desired capabilities and testing scenarios
– Ensure the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions
– Stay updated on tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and mentor other engineers
– Encourage innovation, outside-of-the-box thinking, and diversity within the team

Basic Qualifications:
– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
– At least 6 years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ
– At least 4 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
– 8+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ
– 3+ years of experience with AWS
– 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

Salary Information:
– New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $195,200 – $222,800 for Sr. Manager, Platform Engineering
– Salaries for other locations will be based on the location and will be provided in the offer letter.
