Senior Manager, Platform Engineering Opportunity at Capital One

We are currently seeking Platform Engineers who are excited about using emerging technologies to create and support DevOps tools. As a Platform Engineer, you will have the chance to drive a major transformation within Capital One.

Responsibilities:
– Mentor and lead a team of engineers responsible for critical IBM MQ services
– Collaborate with product owners to understand application needs and testing scenarios
– Ensure the quality, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
– Stay up-to-date with tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and participate in technology communities
– Foster innovation, cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, teamwork, and diversity

Basic Qualifications:
– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
– Minimum 6 years of experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing IBM WebSphere MQ
– Minimum 4 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
– 8+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ
– 3+ years of experience with AWS
– 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

Salary Information:
– New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $195,200 – $222,800 for Sr. Manager, Platform Engineering
– Salary information for other locations will be provided in the offer letter.
