Senior Manager, Platform Engineering

Job Description:

We are looking for Platform Engineers who are excited about creating and supporting DevOps tools with new technologies. As a Platform Engineer, you will be on the forefront of driving a major transformation at Capital One.

Responsibilities:

– Mentoring and leading a team of MQ engineers who manage our critical IBM MQ services
– Collaborating with product owners to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios
– Ensuring the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
– Staying up-to-date on tech trends, experimenting with new technologies, and participating in tech communities
– Encouraging innovation, outside-of-the-box thinking, diversity, and teamwork

Basic Qualifications:

– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
– At least 6 years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ
– At least 4 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

– 8+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ
– 3+ years of experience with AWS
– 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

Location and Salary:

– New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $195,200 – $222,800 for Sr. Manager, Platform Engineering
– Salaries for other locations will vary and will be discussed in the offer letter
