Senior Manager, Platform Engineering – Job Opportunity at Capital One

Responsibilities:
– Lead and mentor a team of engineers responsible for our critical IBM MQ services
– Collaborate with product owners to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios
– Ensure the availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
– Stay up-to-date with tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and participate in technology communities
– Foster innovation, diversity, self-organization, and teamwork

Basic Qualifications:
– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
– Minimum of 6 years of experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing IBM WebSphere MQ
– At least 4 years of experience in people management

Preferred Qualifications:
– 8+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ
– 3+ years of experience with AWS
– 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

Salary Information:
– New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $195,200 – $222,800 for Sr. Manager, Platform Engineering
– Salary ranges for other locations will be provided during the hiring process
