Senior Manager, Platform Engineering – Job Opportunity

We are looking for Platform Engineers who are excited about using emerging technologies to create and support DevOps tools. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of a major transformation within Capital One.

Key Responsibilities:
– Mentor and lead a team responsible for our critical IBM MQ services
– Collaborate with product owners to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios
– Ensure the availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
– Stay up-to-date with tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and contribute to technology communities
– Encourage innovation, diversity, teamwork, and outside-of-the-box thinking

Basic Qualifications:
– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
– At least 6 years of experience with implementing, configuring, and optimizing IBM WebSphere MQ
– At least 4 years of experience in people management

Preferred Qualifications:
– 8+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ
– 3+ years of experience with AWS
– 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

Salary Information:
– New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $195,200 – $222,800 for Sr. Manager, Platform Engineering
– Salary for candidates hired in other locations will be based on the pay range associated with that location.
