Responsibilities:

– Mentor and lead a team of engineers responsible for critical IBM MQ services.
– Collaborate with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
– Ensure the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions.
– Stay informed about tech trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in technology communities, and mentor other engineers.
– Encourage innovation, cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, teamwork, and diversity.

Basic Qualifications:

– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
– At least 6 years of experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing IBM WebSphere MQ.
– At least 4 years of people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

– 8+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ.
– 3+ years of experience with AWS.
– 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.

Salary:

– New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $195,200 – $222,800 for Sr. Manager, Platform Engineering.
– Salary for other locations will be based on the specific location and will be included in the offer letter.
