Job Description

Job Title: Senior Manager, Platform Engineering

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States of America

We are currently seeking passionate Platform Engineers who are skilled in DevOps and eager to work with emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:
– Lead and mentor a team of MQ engineers responsible for critical IBM MQ services.
– Collaborate with product owners to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios.
– Ensure the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions.
– Stay updated with tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and actively engage in internal and external technology communities.
– Foster innovation, diversity, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, and self-organization.

Basic Qualifications:
– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
– At least 6 years of experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing IBM WebSphere MQ.
– 4 years of people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
– 8+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ.
– 3+ years of experience with AWS.
– 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.

Salary:
– New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $195,200 – $222,800 for Sr. Manager, Platform Engineering.
– Salary ranges for other locations will be specified in the offer letter.
