Senior Manager, Platform Engineering

We are currently seeking Platform Engineers to join our team. As a Platform Engineer, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of a major transformation within Capital One.

General Responsibilities:
– Lead and mentor a team of MQ engineers responsible for our critical IBM MQ services
– Collaborate with product owners to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios
– Ensure the quality, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
– Stay updated on tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and participate in technology communities
– Encourage innovation, outside-the-box thinking, teamwork, and diversity

Basic Qualifications:
– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
– At least 6 years of experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing IBM WebSphere MQ
– At least 4 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
– 8+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ
– 3+ years of experience with AWS
– 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

Salary Information:
– New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $195,200 – $222,800 for Sr. Manager, Platform Engineering
– Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
