Senior Manager, Platform Engineering at Capital One

What you’ll do:
– Lead and mentor a team of engineers responsible for our critical IBM MQ services
– Collaborate with product owners to understand application capabilities and testing scenarios
– Ensure the availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
– Stay updated with the latest tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and mentor other members of the engineering community
– Foster innovation, teamwork, diversity, and outside-of-the-box thinking

Basic qualifications:
– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
– Minimum of 6 years of experience working with IBM WebSphere MQ
– Minimum of 4 years of people management experience

Preferred qualifications:
– 8+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ
– 3+ years of experience with AWS
– 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

Salary information:
– New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $195,200 – $222,800 for Senior Manager, Platform Engineering
– Salaries for other locations will be discussed during the hiring process.
