Job Title: Senior Manager, Cyber Technical (DLP Engineering)

Job Summary:
Capital One is looking to hire a Senior Manager of Cyber Security for our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) team. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to develop DLP engineering solutions based on regulatory requirements and analysis of user processes and workflows. Responsibilities:
– Drive DLP program objectives and implement controls to protect Capital One
– Influence and define DLP product strategy and roadmaps in collaboration with the product team and leadership
– Assess and make recommendations on current and proposed architecture, strategies, and systems in the DLP space
– Develop and deliver secure system solutions to meet DLP program requirements
– Create and maintain documentation for DLP solutions, including diagrams, design documents, and technical write-ups
– Lead the DLP Engineering teams in day-to-day commitments, such as organizing and delivering initiatives, supporting audits and investigations, tracking metrics, and identifying control gaps
– Provide project updates to leadership in various meetings
– Provide subject matter expertise to management, business areas, and IT teams, and implement appropriate data loss prevention security controls and monitoring
– Participate in DLP audits, control testing, and other processes

Requirements:
– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
– At least 8 years of software delivery experience (Internship experience does not apply)
– At least 2 years of experience in cyber security
– At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

Preferred Qualifications:
– One or more security-related professional certifications
– Bachelor’s Degree
– 1+ years of experience working with a Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)
– 1+ years of experience working with network or endpoint DLP solutions

Compensation:
– Salary range for Senior Manager, Cyber Technical position in New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $230,100 – $262,700 annually
– Salary for applicants in other locations will be based on the associated pay range for that location, and the actual offer will be reflected in the candidate’s offer letter
– Performance-based incentive compensation may be included, which can include cash bonuses and long-term incentives
