Job Description Summary:The Senior Litigation Project Specialist will liaise with case teams on litigation matters and collaborate with vendors, docketing, practice support, and IT to meet these goals. The Specialist will provide strategic planning, organization, and execution of e-Discovery services for clients which include major corporate clients and law firms across a wide range of industries.Job Description:Provide litigation support assistance to case and trial teams, including overseeing technology-based litigations for attorneys and paralegals and managing the day-to-day litigation support needs of assigned cases.Liaise with Practice Support department to collect, organize and prepare electronic or hard copy documents/data for production; review data productions for accuracy and ensure requests and client requirements are adequately and timely addressed.Coordinate logistical matters and other support for depositions, and trials, including document collection and production.Manage litigation support projects with vendors, including liaising with case team to provided overall technical trial support and on/off-site assistance with pre-trial and trial needs.Manage relationships, both internally and externally, as a liaison between firm personnel and outside technology vendors.Organize and maintain case files using a variety of automated procedures and employ databases for searches and document retrieval, as needed.Maintain open communication with internal and external clients to provide continuous visibility into a project’s status through close tracking of project risks, scope changes, and general requirements changes as the project proceeds.Offer solutions and processes to improve efficiencies for case teams; Support attorneys and paralegals on in-house and external eDiscovery tools.Oversee third party vendors regarding proposals, service quality, and communication coordination.Track project progress internally to ensure timelines are satisfied.Play an active role in helping the firm to provide legal services of the highest caliber to our clients and consistently meeting the firm’s standards of excellence in supporting our attorney teams.Hands-on Administration and Project Management of Relativity 2nd request based hosted matters, including direct client support from review through to production.Perform updates and maintenance of data on various platforms, such as Recommind and Concordance.Work directly with attorneys, clients, legal personnel and the other members of the practice support team to counsel, train and advise regarding the effective use of practice support tools to gather, investigate and analyze data systems.Support coordination of data migrations and other types of re-organization of data; coordinate or perform data management activities such as data processing, building production subsets, and other database management.Organize, track and load document productions in Summation Pro, Concordance and Sanction.Load Depositions, Exhibits and Video Syncs to West LiveNote, CaseMap, or TextMap.Implement review workflows for large and complex cases.Coordinate exchange of deposition designations with opposing and co-counselDesired Skills and Qualifications:Extensive working knowledge of automated litigation support software such as Relativity, CaseMap, TextMap, Case Notebook and Live Note; familiarity with Ringtail, ASP, Access, Summation or Concordance is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access); knowledge of extranets or other collaborative project management tools (e.g. Visio) and financial systems and reports.Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a time-sensitive and high-pressure environment.Strong client service; able to interact and develop good relationships with attorneys and other legal personnel.Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in compiling executive summaries and status reports for consumption by attorneys and clients.Demonstrates excellence in using Viewpoint/Lateral.Able to effectively convey solutions to teams, explaining results within a legal project management framework and achieving buy-in from matter teams.Ability to integrate and synthesize information from multiple teams and workstreams in order to analyze complex issues, mitigate risk, and solve problems.Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills.Demonstrate sharp attention to detail in executing and reviewing work products to ensure the highest quality deliverables in the allotted timeframe.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.Possess highly developed writing, presentation and communication skills.Technical Skills:Relativity One, Relativity 10, Relativity Processing, Trial Director, CaseMap, TimeMap, TextMap, West LiveNote, Sanction, LawPreDiscovery, Summation iBlaze, Summation Pro, Concordance, IPRO eScanit, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Ready Suite, Venio One, Opus Magnum 7.3, Brainspace, EzManage, Beyond Compare.Reporting to the Senior Paralegal Manager, the qualified candidate will have 5+ years of litigation support in professional services industries and experience advising and counseling on processes and best practices in a litigation support role. Familiarity with electronic discovery and risk management issues, concepts, and legal processes. Experience working on legal, compliance, privacy and/or related projects. Bachelor’s degree and/or Project Management certificate preferred.
