The company saw a gap in the market to create a platform to power trading environments and focused on this. Their aim was to create a single solution that excellent customer service, security, performance, and scalability.

The company are now looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join their team in New York.

The Person

The right person for this role will have

• 4+ years experience implementing, designing and supporting high performance, low latency applications.
• Working experience in Java (8+)
• Finance background
• Experience with writing multi-threaded systems on Linux / Unix based platforms
• Previous experience working in Maven/ Gradle build environments
• You will have taken products through all stages from design to delivery
• Ability to work both as a team and independently
• Working with networking protocols TCP/IP, UDP, Web-sockets
• Ability to work in performance troubleshooting and tuning of low latency applications

Salary 220K+ basic depending on experience
