The Human Resources Manager is responsible for creating and executing all HR infrastructure and policies. This role will be crucial for executing strategy and overseeing the full employee life cycle. The HR Manager will coach, consult, and partner with management on all issues relating to HR. The ideal candidate will have experience creating HR infrastructure (policies and procedures) in a high growth and startup environment. Responsibilities * Overseeing full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, etc.) – Assist in the building of bench organization strength through the identification, recruitment, and development of top talent * Provide expert advice, counsel, and coaching to managers and employees on all employee related issues such as, but not limited to: performance management, documentation, progressive discipline measures, career development, employee relations issues, policies and procedures, and all employment/labor laws * Execution of payroll * Issue progressive disciplinary actions * Administration of PEO + time and attendance systems * Administration of benefits packages * Administration of compliance (EEO, FLSA, ACA, etc.) and employee record-keeping * Proactively suggest improved practices based on customer handling experience/feedback * Timely and accurate updating records * Planning and executing employee engagement events Requirements Proven track record of strategic HR experience in a startup or high growth company – A MUST! Experience implementing PEO, HCM, and T&A systems Bachelor s Degree in HR related field, Master s Degree strongly preferred + 5 years of HR experience Solid knowledge of HR generalist functions (employee relations, local + federal employment law, compensation, training, etc.) Strong experience handling complex employee relations issues Outstanding leadership and communication skills A can do attitude willing to take on more work than is required Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) Extremely personable and approachable with a strong emotional intelligence Able to work in a fast paced, fluid operating environment Associated topics: associate director, chro, director, guide, head, lead, leader, manager, senior director, vice president
