Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Security Officer to join our team at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. Responsibilities

• Conducts cash escorts as required.
• Team-oriented; ability to work effectively with others to ensure a smooth o peration.
• Highly motived and takes initiative.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Observes, handles, and reports procedural violations and illegal activity.
• Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor.
• Maintains crowd control as required.
• Maintain a secure presence on the gaming floor.
• Patrol parking lot and ancillary buildings as assigned.
• Operate motorized vehicle when necessary
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must possess a New York state Security Guard license.
• Must be able to be licensed by New York State Gaming Commission.
• Demonstrate skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to control difficult situations and maintain customer goodwill.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, pass an MVR check, and take a drug test.

Physical Requirements

• Requires the ability to see, hear, walk, run, sit, squat, bend, reach and grasp objects throughout the shift in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds.
