Job Title: Security Guard – Residential Facility
Location: Brentwood, NY
Environment: Temporary Housing Facility
Pay Rate: $15/hrly

General Requirements: Availability to work in the following areas: Riverhead, Wading River, Coram, Middle Island, Medford, Farmingville. M ust be willing to obtain an additional background check though Department of Social Services.

Shift & Hours: Part Time overnights

• Friday – Sunday 4pm-12am
• Saturday, Sunday 12am-8am

JOB DESCRIPTION

General Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
• Respond in a timely fashion to critical situations
• Ability to read and write detailed reports
• Ability to deescalate potential conflicts
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
• Maintain security presence to enforce a safe environment

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:

• At least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• Drivers License w/clean Motor Vehicle Record preferred not required
• Must be willing to obtain CPR Certification within one month of employment.
• Customer Service Experience Preferred
• Receptionist or Administrative Assistant experience preferred but not required.

General Qualifications to work in physical security at GardaWorld include:

• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• Pass an extensive screening process
