SENIOR CONSULTANT

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for leading the design, development and deployment of large-scale complex software solutions at an enterprise level. These applications are often high-volume mission critical systems and would provide you an exposure to a broad range of technologies across all layers of architecture in the Network Admin technology stack. You will be responsible for independently lead the team and mentor junior team members, collaborating team across shores to understand the functional requirements and translate them into work products. You will be involved in end-to-end delivery of the project from estimations, planning and execution. You would also be responsible for tracking status and collecting metrics for analysis.

Work you’ll do

• Lead and drive discussions with business and functional analysts and come up with technical architecture and design and help the team shape requirements and resolve ambiguities.
• Understand the impacts of adapting different architectures and designs and present the same to all relevant stakeholders. Manage both functional and technical requirements while deciding on technical solutions.
• Develop solutions following established technical design, application development standards and quality processes in projects.
• Manage project execution by defining the work-breakdown structure in accordance with the master project plan and track the progress.
• Establish technical design / development guidelines, templates and standards and ensure that the team follows them.
• Run the daily calls / scrum meetings with respect to deliverables and build the weekly status reports to be reviewed with leadership.
• Perform detailed reviews on deliverables. Provide technical guidance to the team members.
• Interact with onsite clients, coordinator / scrum master, analyst and offshore development, support team and other cross-functional teams.

CBO practitioners work on design, delivery and support of a variety of solutions that help our clients meet business objectives. These solutions range from large scale ground-up custom developed applications, to cloud based development and integration services as well as customizing industry sector focused packages. As a Network Admin capability hire on this team, you would get opportunities to work on all adjacent area technologies such as cloud-based service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelors Required, Masters preferred.

Prior Experience:

7 to 10 years of hands on technical hands on experience related to Network administration and collaboration tool stack.

Skills / Project Experience – required:

• Expertise in Cisco Administration
• Good knowledge on DHCP
• Good experience on WAN/LAN/MAN/Wireless Management
• Network security experience.
• Switches and Routers administration
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers.
• Systems/Network Performance (saturation, latency, errors, optimization techniques, QOS)
• Packet analysis using OPNET, sniffer, Wireshark
• Network Design and routing experience; Manufacturing Plant support experience
• CISCO ISE
• CISCO Voice and Video Services
• connectivity – call quality; dropped calls, ability to call; received; challenged users; voicemail, conferencing, IM, video
• Configuring and maintenance of new devices
• Vendor management/interaction with services
• VOIP maintenance
• Cisco Unified Communications Manager
• Cisco Jabber version, deploy, deployment, troubleshooting, and administration
• Customer carrier voice network bandwidth provisioning.
• Cisco switch QoS policy configuration for Cisco end devices.
• SIP voice network trunk, and centralized voice network architecture
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols
• Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Ability to create network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
• Ability to quickly learn technologies and products using documentation and internet resources.
• Ability to work with all levels of IT staff inside and outside the organization.
• Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable and flexible when necessary.
• Experience with local area network and wide area network administration.
• Proven experience in a network administrator role
• Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is Required
• Ability to set up and configure server hardware
• Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
• Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
• Ability to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
