ICL is one of just 10 organizations in the state to be designated as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC), designed to improve the physical and emotional health of children and families, with a special focus on Latinx communities.
Supported by generous funding from SAMHSA (federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration), the program is housed in our East New York Health Hub. Since it opened in 2018, the Hub has become a vital resource for supportive services for adults, children and families.
As our country faces a mental health crisis many call the second pandemic, there could not be a more important time to open this program.

ICL is a not-for profit behavioral health and housing organization well known for serving people with mental illness from a trauma informed whole health approach. Our comprehensive and deeply integrated services span outpatient mental health and school based clinics, in community team based care including mobile crisis teams, psychiatric rehabilitative treatment, supportive housing and residential treatment, transitional shelters, group homes for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and a care coordination program for thousands. We deliver services to over 15,000 people annually with approximately 2,700 people in our housing programs. We are disciplined in the use of data and evidenced based practice to better understand and drive clinical excellence upholding our promise that People Get Better with Us.
Receptionist – High School and must have knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and third party requirements. Must show maturity in dealing with fellow employees. Superior written and verbal communication skills are a must. Must be able to type 35 wpm and operate a personal computer.
