We’re looking for a driven transaction coordinator to manage contracts throughout the entire home selling and buying process. You’d be responsible for overseeing transactions from start to finish to ensure offers and counteroffers are approved for a smooth and successful sale. Compensation:
$35,000 – $50,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Save customer information in the CRM system, forward all necessary paperwork to the office broker for file compliance, and track transaction activities
Support sales agents, clients, and other parties with escrow-related paperwork, such as appraisals, titles, and mortgage loans
Schedule home inspections and any necessary repairs, and assist in negotiations regarding repairs
Manage transaction contracts from both home buyers and sellers to close the deal in a timely manner
Arrange for and attend events regarding the closing process, including moving schedules
What does a day on the job look like?
The day starts at 8:30 a.m. This is the time you’ll be scanning through your e-mail to see if anything new came into your e-mail from the night before. You’ll add any new tasks into your day/week based on the priority of when they need to get done
Around 10:00 you’ll be running through your files. You’ll be running through them one by one, going through the checklist for each one. You’ll be sending reminder e-mails, check-up e-mails, or passing along the information to the appropriate parties. You’ll also be sending out documents for signature
By noon you’ll probably have some new files to start, so you’ll work on those. You’ll be getting properties listed on the MLS & social media. Or sometimes you’ll be alerting lenders and attorneys that a new file has been started and giving them all the paperwork they need through e-mail
Heading into the end of the day, you’ll start winding down by updating all the active files for the day. You’ll close out any files that closed or fell apart. You’ll also make sure photos, inspections, and appraisal appointments have all been scheduled and the appropriate parties notified.
To wrap up, you’ll update your “to do” list with anything you were able to get done that day. You’ll essentially plan out your day for tomorrow so you can jump right back into it.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
Candidates should be organized and able to communicate written and verbal information to clients accurately and clearly
Obtained real estate license or are currently pursuing
Previous experience in transaction management, transaction coordination, real estate, titles, or mortgages highly valued
Passionate about providing excellent customer service
Job Requirements:
Must be able to work out of your phone or a laptop. The bulk of this job is done through software such as Chime and Gmail
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be willing to get your real estate salesperson license within 6 months of being hired
Willing to work in a team environment
Must be friendly, even in stressful situations
Must be able to communicate with clients and be a point of contact for questions
Must be curious and excited to learn as much about the industry as possible
Must be extremely organized
Must be able to follow a checklist & improve it as time goes on
Work Experience:
2+ years of consecutive job history
2+ years of office management experience
History of achieving and consistently exceeding personal goals
1+ year in a real estate related field
