Kelly Services is seeking a purchasing agent in the Canandaigua area.

Competitive salary based on experience. Direct Hire 65K- 70K

Duties of this position:
• Negotiating with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
• Conducting initial purchase requisition review in the ERP System.
• Converting fully approved Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders in the ERP system and sending orders to vendors.
• Following up on Purchase Orders with vendors and updating the ERP system or following up with requisitions as needed.
• Serving as the focal point for establishing new vendors in the ERP system.
• Managing and maintaining a log of Capital Expenditures (CAPX) to ensure spending does not exceed approved amounts without proper approvals.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have 3-5 years of business-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hold an Associate degree (A.A.) preferred in Business or Accounting field from an accredited College or University.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Are able to work independently, manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Have a working knowledge of ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Are familiar with ISO 9001.
