Public Relations Representative (Branded Events)

PTO is hiring now! We are on the lookout for a fresh new wave of Public Relations Representatives to join our branded events team in New York (10018). If you have experience in sales, public relations, consumer relation, customer service, hospitality, retail or events this could be the opportunity that you are looking for.

Availability: 4 Full-Time Positions, 2 Part-Time Positions

Start Date: Immediate Start available (within 2 weeks of offer)

Location: Your role as a Public Relations Representative will require you to work in person at our office in downtown New York. In addition, you will also be attending our retail events throughout the region as part of your role. (NOT REMOTE or WORKING FROM HOME)

Key Responsibilities:

As a public relations representative, you will be a brand ambassador for our clients and a part of our dynamic, fun, and hard-working team. Your people skills and attractive personality will help you to:

• Promote client services and causes at our private site events
• Strengthen our customer base through our face to face presentations
• Assist with the setting up of promotional stands and retail events
• Promote our products & services to the public creating excitement from prospective customers regarding the cause/service/product
• Build brand awareness regarding our clients brands/causes
• Deal with customer enquiries with professionalism and high quality customer service at all times
• Recording of new customer/donor information ensuring a high level of accuracy and privacy at all times
• Attract the attention of and secure new, long term customers/donors for our client
• Achieve individual and company set goals

Who we’re looking for:

If you’re a friendly, confident person and highly self-motivated then you could excel in this role. Some requirements include:

• Comfortable talking to customers from various backgrounds
• Eligible to work in the US (No sponsorship offered)
• We are looking for candidates that are able to start as soon as possible therefore we are unable to hold spots for out of state candidates or international candidates at this time
• Willingness to adapt to flexible work hours
• Ability to easily commute to and from our office dail
• Customer service or sales experience is a welcomed bonus, however comprehensive training is provided
