In this role, you will lead essential work to advance a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive JetBlue by building a world class calendar of diversity recruitment activities and programs. You will drive diversity recruitment strategies as well as execution to support JetBlue’s growth and achieve its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) vision. This role will have direct accountability for fostering and mobilizing high-impact alliances with external and internal stakeholders across a broad matrix of functions, departments, and geographies. As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will bring project management, executive communication, analytical, and anticipatory problem solving skills, to effectively build alignment with diversity hiring initiatives. While everyone at JetBlue is accountable to fulfilling the company’s diversity recruitment mission, you will be vital in bringing people together to make it happen. By liaising with cross-functional partners including Talent Acquisition, Crewmember Resource Groups, the Diversity & Inclusion Team, Corporate Communications, and Senior Business Leaders, you will drive partnerships, engagement, and program activations. Essential Responsibilities:Build active relationships with key stakeholders and leadership across Talent Acquisition (TA) and the greater organizationLead and analyze new business and partnership opportunities in with professional Diversity Conferences and alternative candidate pipelining spaceLead the work on our go-to-market strategy for external partner activations related to diversity representation and retention goals. You will serve as the primary contact for external DEI partners serving JetBlue’s recruitment and Crewmember development effortsWorking with and gathering insights from data (but better with people), independently-motivated (but great at collaboration), equipped with strong opinions (but excited to think differently), and, ambitious, you will be driven to increase diverse perspectives within the organization Inform and support TA and Business leaders in the process of determining diversity recruitment strategies and partner with Recruiters to understand current and future hiring needs while crafting effective solutions to infuse diverse talent into the recruiting pipelineFacilitate the operational process of defining and executing TA’s various action plans to help build diverse talent pools and communities with recruitment Leaders and RecruitersLeverage the TA brand/marketing team to ensure that recruitment teams and their hiring leaders are socializing JetBlue’s employer brand and reputation in regards to DEIProvide regular communications within TA to update about upcoming events and activities, equip with latest materials, publicize best practices and success stories, and moreSupport other enterprise DEI initiatives and compliance practices, as neededAmplify DEI initiatives with a deep understanding of program and client management and serve as a trusted advisor who will guide and advise on the needs of the organization, develop relevant solutions, and support the execution of key activationsOther duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related fieldThree (3) years exposure to business strategy in DEI, talent acquisition, and partner/event managementPrior success delivering project management in an HR field, experience in Talent Acquisition, and/or Diversity RecruitmentPrior contribution to recruitment events as well as social media and employer branding engagementProven ability to build and leverage relationships with stakeholder groups into measurable project outcomesProactive self-starter, who can think creatively as well as “roll up your sleeves” to achieve a tangible resultAnalytical mindset and keen problem-solving skillsSelf-awareness along with outstanding and clear communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsExperience analyzing and interpreting data and translating analyses into recommendationsComfortable dealing with ambiguityAvailable for overnight travel (up to 20%)Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug testMust be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located Preferred Experience and Qualifications:Three (3) years of experience on a diversity recruiting teamUnderstanding of how to influence geographically dispersed teams, underrepresented populations, utilizing storytelling abilities and presentation skillsExperience successfully influencing key business partners across and within business unitsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and balancing multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time timelines, and within budget parameters.Facilitating presentations in front of large groups, including leadershipProficient with Microsoft Teams Crewmember Expectations:Regular attendance and punctualityPotential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-noticeWell-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearanceWhen working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraftMust be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion, and FunPromote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy, and behavioral standardsIdentify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR)) Equipment:Computer and other office equipment Work Environment: Traditional office environment Physical Effort: Generally not required, or up to 10 pounds occasionally, 0 pounds frequently (Sedentary)
