In this Role, You Will:
– Use your expertise in data loss prevention tools to design and implement tools that protect data from cybersecurity risks in various forms: in use, in motion, and at rest.
– Analyze the problem space, document your approach, and work with architecture teams to create a target state architecture.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to execute technical resolutions and ensure successful project delivery.
– Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, developers, and engineers to understand evolving needs and ensure the services we create meet their requirements.
– Communicate extensively with Data Protection Product and engineering teams throughout the organization.
– Collaborate with partners in different teams to address dependencies with data loss prevention products.
– Design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure to meet our organization’s requirements and ensure high availability.

About You:
– You have expertise in data loss prevention tools and a strong understanding of web proxy, email, and endpoint solutions.
– You pay attention to details and can clearly articulate technical information in both conversations and technical writing.
– You can lead complex technical initiatives, leveraging your knowledge of cybersecurity practices, software engineering principles, agile frameworks, and customer engagement.
– You have excellent relationship-building skills and can collaborate effectively with technology groups, stakeholders, and vendors.
– You have demonstrated clear communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at multiple levels of an organization.
– You have experience working on high-impact enterprise cybersecurity projects with cross-functional teams.
– You have a passion for technical delivery, product security, software development practices, or platform engineering.
– You have hands-on knowledge and expertise in securing technology, including operating systems, databases, virtualization, cloud computing environments, and networks.
– You have experience troubleshooting, investigating, configuring, and supporting data loss prevention products.

Basic Qualifications:
– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
– At least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology
– At least 3 years of experience in the data protection field
– At least 1 year of experience with Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP) infrastructure engineering

Preferred Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science
– 3+ years of experience in scripting and solving cyber technical challenges
– 3+ years of experience in the Agile delivery model
– 3+ years of experience in public cloud security and multi-cloud environments
– 2+ years of experience in IT Delivery projects and technical writing
– 2+ years of hands-on experience with JIRA
– 1 or more professional cybersecurity certifications: CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CCSP, CISA, or Security+
– 1 or more professional cloud certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect – Associate, AWS Developer – Associate, AWS Security – Specialty, or AWS Solution Architect – Professional

Salary Information:
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role in different locations are as follows:
– New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $161,900 – $184,800
– San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $171,500 – $195,800

Please note that salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on agreed-upon working hours. Candidates hired for other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, as mentioned in the offer letter.
