Location: 317 E 34th St, New York, NY 10016

Work Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 1 to 2 Saturdays a month: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Primary Responsibilities:

• Welcomes patients and visitors with a smile and friendly tone
• Checks patients in and out of the clinic
• Verifies patient identity and insurance
• Takes copayments in accordance with patients’ insurance plans
• Schedules patient appointments and maintains the schedule as adjustments are required
• Displays complete understanding of patient check-in forms and clearly describes information to patients and visitors as needed
• Performs other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance. Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of medical office experience
• Intermediate level of proficiency in general computer use and Microsoft Office

New York Residents Only: The salary range for New York residents is $16.00 to $27.31.
