A New York City nonprofit services organization is currently seeking a new Licensing Associate for a promising Remote position with their staff. In this role, the Licensing Associate will be responsible for leading merchandising, licensing, product sales, and other revenue streams, which in turn fund both the organization’s programming, administration and local council revenue.

Responsibilities:

The Licensing Associate (Remote) will:

• Coordinate and traffic product development approvals, including logging/uploading submissions to project management applications (SharePoint)
• Complete approval forms; organize & maintain approvals records and product samples; and, coordinate with licensing agency
• Assist in product development approvals process by reviewing submissions against brand guidelines, editorial style guide and prior submissions; fact-checking/researching; seeking feedback from other departments; communicating consolidated feedback to licensing agent
• Track licensee contract compliance (e.g., submission of insurance certificates, third-party manufacturer agreements); create invoices for royalties due in NetSuite system; and, assist the Finance team with royalty processing and maintains contract files
• Complete contract routing form, traffics and tracks contracts through signature process
• Supply information and materials to licensing agency
• Screen and respond to contacts from potential licensees; help distinguish which are viable sales leads and communicate to licensing agency
• Coordinate and provides scheduling and logistics management for on- and off-site meetings, events and conferences, and department travel
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a Corporate environment; 2+ years of Licensing experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
