We are looking for a full-time BC/BE pediatrician to join our well-respected physician-owned private practice located near New Haven in Ansonia, CT , with a strong affiliation with Yale New Haven Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our expanding patient base.

About the Opportunity:

• Collaborative Practice: Join a supportive and collegial “family-style” environment where teamwork is valued, enhanced by our experienced support staff.
• Flexible Schedule: Enjoy a full-time schedule designed for work-life balance, typically 4-5 days per week (Monday-Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM) with shared Saturday coverage (9 AM – 12 PM, rotating approximately 1 in 3).
• Comprehensive Patient Care: Provide a full spectrum of pediatric care to a diverse patient population, from newborns to 25 years old, including shared newborn rounding at Yale New Haven and Griffin Hospitals.
• Academic Involvement: Potential opportunity to re-open course to teach medical students through Yales program, if interested.
• Manageable Patient Volume & Autonomy: Maintain a healthy work pace managing an average of 25-30 patients per day, with a scheduling structure that supports provider autonomy (20 min well child/physicals, 10-15 min sick visits). Benefit from a supportive ramp-up period at your own pace.
• Hospital Affiliations & Efficient Call System: Our providers have admitting privileges at Yale New Haven and Griffin Hospitals. Our call system is primarily phone-based and efficiently managed through an answering service.
