News Corp is embarking on a journey of transformation. We are looking for an organization design transformation specialist whose primary focus is helping our HR and Functional Leaders identify and map out our operational model and its impact to people across our business units. The Organization design specialist will report into Global HR.

Location:

Flexible on location within North America. News Corp headquarters is located in New York, NY.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support large scale change efforts in the areas of organization effectiveness, including organization diagnostics and transformation and organization design.
• Analyze current state and future organization communication requirements to produce change management deliverables that drive stakeholders towards adoption and culture change.
• Partner with HR Business Partners to see opportunities to conduct organization diagnosis, improve organizational effectiveness and provide consultation to appropriate parties including divisional leadership.
• Apply leading edge frameworks, methods, practices and tools to improve enterprise organizational effectiveness.
• Provide guidance on large scale projects and programs for News Corp’s divisions and regions that directly impact the effectiveness of the organization.
• Support HRBPs and the business on change management challenges. Work with the business to develop an understanding of the critical processes for change, build commitment to those processes, and ensure that change occurs as intended.
• Apply your track record for developing strong internal working relationships at a senior leadership level, and influence without formal direct authority.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of five years progressive experience in one or more of the following specialties: organizational design and large-scale project transformation. Management consulting experience is a plus.
• Understanding of organizational change models and ability to identify/recommend best fit given the specific situation.
• At least five years of experience in organizational analysis and strategic planning
• Excellent organizational and written communication skills; capability to clearly and succinctly define problems and outline solutions.
• Experience in scoping and shaping project engagements.
• Experience with organizational effectiveness engagements including diagnostics and transformation, design, and change management.
• Experience in the development and implementation of initiatives from strategy through to execution.
• Experience managing and working with teams across locations.
• Experience working in a global organization preferred.
• Excellent consultative, relationship management, influencing and facilitation skills.
• Superb problem solving skills; logical and analytical thinker.
• Strong executive presence.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to organize and present information in a clear and concise way to a variety of audiences.
