RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a Network Administration/Application Support in New York, NY. Summary: The network administrator will be responsible with installing, supporting, and maintaining servers or other computer and telephony systems, and planning for and responding to service outages and other problem with effective resolutions and in a timely manner. The network administrator will work closely with the other Network Administrators, Help Desk Group, IT Development Group, VP Network, IT Manager, Main Office Support Groups, 3rd Party Vendors and end-user to provide support for the Bank and Securities entities, which includes a Trading Floor. They will maintain configuration management and change control of network infrastructure. Other duties include scripting or light programming, project management for systems-related projects, supervising or training computer operators, and being the consultant for computer problems beyond the knowledge of Help Desk Group staff. The Network Administrator must demonstrate a blend of technical skills and responsibility. Duties:

• Technical Support responsibilities will include monitoring the network and all related hardware for available disc space, connectivity problems, viruses and any other problems which arise within the network
• The Telecommunication Support responsibilities will include managing and coordinating all aspects of communication for the organization
• Responsible for keeping track of the administrative tasks of the data center; This responsibility will include keeping track of the hardware/software inventory, distribution and disposal of equipment, vendor contracts
• Review and track operations of the platform they are responsible for, and communicating with IT management any concerns which might adversely affect operations

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have technical working knowledge of implementation of Workday Financial Management
• Must have been responsible for the implementation from the technical side of the Workday Financial Management platform
• Knowledge of the other Workday modules is a plus
