For our Manhattan office, we re looking for a Merchandise Analyst to join our fast-growing team as we build a global fashion brand dedicated to celebrating and empowering the hijab-wearing woman.

The ideal candidate would have experience in merchandising for eCommerce and accustomed to data-driven decision making utilizing an inventory management system. They would also be a spirited, friendly person, loaded with lots of positive energy and a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Creating products in our system for weekly product releases
• Data collection and reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly sales
• Monitoring incoming inventory shipments and managing warehouse intake
• Creating shot lists and product shipments for photography studio
• Assisting the Merchandise Planner with QA and color correction for photography
• Reviewing collection pages regularly to ensure products are effectively arranged
• Proposing trend-based lookbook blogs and product spotlights
• Competitor and trend research
• Assisting the Merchandise Planner with monthly inventory buys

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in merchandising or related field, with analytical coursework strongly preferred.
• Strong data skills and passion for data-driven merchandising
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• 2-4 years experience working as a merchandiser
• Experienced with TradeGecko, StitchLabs or similar inventory management system
• Strong project management skills
• Must be an excellent problem solver and team player
• Must be very organized, with a strong ability to multi-task
• Absolutely must be a self-starter and know how to take the initiative
• Be familiar with current fashion trends/colors and research designs that will appeal to consumers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe CS
