Job Overview:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality Mechanical Custom Products committed to the design and fabrication of innovative and safety-focused solutions. Serving both commercial and military aviation markets, they prioritize reliability and dependability in every product they produce.

They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will design, develop, test, and improve their mechanical products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, design, and implement mechanical systems for aircraft applications, utilizing CAD software.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to refine product designs and ensure their feasibility, efficiency, and safety.
• Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards and specifications.
• Inspect and evaluate existing systems, proposing modifications and enhancements to improve quality, reliability, and performance.
• Work closely with manufacturing team to ensure designs are achievable and cost-effective.
• Oversee production process, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring products meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Create and present project proposals, reports, and findings to senior management.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and technological developments.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, industry standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the aviation or related industry.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with aviation industry standards and federal regulations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred.
