Orthopaedic Surgeon needed in Logan, West Virginia.

Verification of need:

Our patient demographics allows for high volume of Orthopaedic Surgery. Our geographic region also has a high incidence for outdoor sports related injuries.

We are a medically underserved area with a draw of 75,000 patients from southwestern West Virginia and Eastern Kentucky.

We are licensed for 140 beds, and the only major acute hospital in a nine county area.

An extensive referral network including internal med and family practitioners.

Practice Opportunity:

The incoming orthopaedic surgeon can establish a private practice utilizing hospital support through an income guarantee or become a hospital employee.

Salary- Competitive with potential to bonus

Sign On Bonus

Relocation – $15,000.00- negotiable based on where the candidate is relocating from

Marketing- $5,000.00

25 days PTO 5 days CME and $2,500 for CME

1526 sq. foot office space available in beautiful Medical Office Building

We will have a very experienced orthopedic surgery staff and 4 operating rooms

Call coverage will consist of 1:2
