What’s a typical day as a Manufacturing Technician? You’ll be:
• Responsible for maintaining the facilities heating, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Maintaining all production equipment, including knowledge of automated packaging systems.
• Reading drawings and schematics of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Installing new equipment.
• Fabricating various parts and assembling systems from drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Operating basic machinery such as a drill press and saw.
• Instructing and assisting production personnel in their functions and equipment usage.
• Performing preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled.
• Adhering to OSHA standards.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have experience in maintaining heating, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Possess knowledge of automated packaging systems.
• Can read and interpret drawings and schematics of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Have the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Are capable of installing new equipment.
• Can fabricate various parts and assemble systems from drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Are proficient in operating basic machinery such as a drill press and saw.
• Have the ability to instruct and assist production personnel.
• Are familiar with OSHA standards.
