Job Title: Manager, Data Engineering (Python, AWS, Airflow, Snowflake) Hybrid

Job Summary:
As a Manager, Data Engineering, your role will involve building data pipeline frameworks to automate data delivery, creating data APIs and services to support operational and analytical applications, and transforming complex models into scalable solutions. You will work with modern technologies like Python, AWS, Airflow, and Snowflake to develop robust applications. In addition, you will collaborate with Product Owners and customers in an agile environment to deliver data products.

Responsibilities:
– Lead and develop sustainable data-driven solutions using the latest technologies
– Quickly master new technologies to meet project requirements
– Identify and resolve complex data issues
– Build robust systems for long-term maintenance and support
– Share knowledge and contribute to the broader team’s growth
– Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
– Understand and work with complex multi-tier, multi-platform systems
– Manage a team of data engineers, including full-time associates and third-party resources

Basic Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree
– At least 6 years of experience in application development (Internship experience does not apply)
– At least 2 years of experience in big data technologies
– At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
– At least 2 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
– Master’s Degree
– 7+ years of experience in application development (Python, SQL, Scala, or Java)
– 4+ years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
– 4+ years of experience with distributed data/computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL)
– 4+ years of experience working on real-time data and streaming applications
– 4+ years of experience with NoSQL implementation (Mongo, Cassandra)
– 4+ years of data warehousing experience (Redshift or Snowflake)
– 4+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting
– 4+ years of experience with Agile engineering practices

Salary Information:
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role in New York City (Hybrid On-Site) are $197,400 to $225,300. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on agreed-upon hours.
