Our rapidly expanding insurance agency is looking for a full-time life insurance agent to join our team! You’ll grow a list of prospective clients, market our insurance products, showcase our offerings to new customers, and help policyholders navigate the claims process. We’ll provide the support network and resources to help you reach – and exceed – your sales goals. Responsibilities: • Expand our prospective customer base and market our insurance products via including networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies to bring in new business • Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintain existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry response, insurance eligibility, claim submissions questions concerning billing and insurance policies • Determine new customers’ insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible • Assist current policyholders during the insurance claims process while overseeing existing insurance claims • Manage electronic and paper records and ensure all contracting paperwork is kept current • Cultivating relationships, with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial security Qualifications: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred • Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus • Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred • Active Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonus • Sales experience preferred – enterprising mindset, no mile too far • Desire to help families and businesses to “Be Good At Life.” • Bilingual Language preferred, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Portuguese, etc. About Company: New York Life is a Fortune 100 company with a long history of doing good.
