Legal Assistant (Hybrid)

A New York City-based legal services firm is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new Legal Assistant to their staff.

This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

The Legal Assistant will:

• Provide general administrative assistance, such as maintaining the Attorney’s and Paralegal’s calendars
• Proofread correspondence and legal documents, such as pleadings and contracts
• Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems
• Update & maintain documentation management databases
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of related work experience
• Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience in a Corporate setting
• Previous experience with Agreements + Document production
• Computer savvy
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Exceptional phone etiquette
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
