Primary Role: The Learning & Development Coordinator is responsible for the administration of the internal Learning Management System (LMS), the creation of learning content, and the maintenance of corporate training records and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities – Learning & Development Coordinator: Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology for delivery in digital-on-demand, virtual and live training formats.

1. Assist in the delivery and facilitation of annual compliance training programs.
2. Assist in the documentation and maintenance of employees’ Individual development plans
3. Establish and maintain the training calendar to include all training events, venue availability and participant registration.
4. Assist in the planning of travel, catering and lodging for in-person training events.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with department managers and other business partners.
6. Maintain employee training records and follow-up with employees who are missing completions.
7. Travel as needed to assist in the delivery of training in other locations.
8. Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills Learning & Development Coordinator:

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in office administration, preferably in a Human Resources and/or training capacity.
• Ability to learn new technology and software as needed.
• Proficiency in using a variety of computer software applications, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience creating SCORM compliant training modules using Adobe Captivate (Optional)
• Strong interpersonal / relationship skills
• Travel requirements approximately 10% to other facilities, off-site meetings, etc.
• Availability requirements: As needed to meet the needs of the business and our employees. Off-hours training offerings may be required including weekends and nights.
