Description: Our client, a major Wall Street firm, is searching for a remote contract IP Litigation Paralegal that is well versed in all areas of Intellectual Property litigation with PATTSY experience for a 3-6 month project to start as soon as possible. This position involves working independently and assisting attorneys with the below responsibilities: Responsibilities: Monitor case filings for deadlines to be docketed; Proof docket entries; Research litigations using Docket Navigator and Pacer; Efficiently prepare court filings including check briefs for formatting, Blue book cases, download cases, check pinpoint citations, check citations to the court record and exhibits, prepare the exhibits, draft ancillary pleadings (notices, declarations and proposed orders), review the local court requirements, edit and revise as necessary, finalize papers for e-filing, e-file if necessary, and serve the final papers; Archive and organize all case materials; Prepare issue binders as needed Coordinate with Litigation Support regarding upload of client documents and productions; Relativity review of documents for production, confidentiality or a privilege log, redact documents in Relativity or Excel productions, search and tag productions and review documents; Prepare potential exhibits for depositions, hearings and trials; and Support attorneys at hearings and trials Requirements: Must have PATTSY experience Exceptional with Relativity, TextMap, Westlaw, Lexis, Pacer, Acrobat, Word and Excel Excellent cite-checking skills, organizational skills, computer skills, attention to detail, and team player attitude Ability to work overtime and accustomed to a fast-paced atmosphere Hourly Rate: $30/hr. – $37/hr.
