Work with our client, a new insurance company, to draft operational processes documentation and procedure mapping. The operational documentation and procedures created must be “outsourcing-forward” and involve best practices for the insurance industry. This involves meeting with client to determine the goals of client, gathering and analyzing data, and creating documentation and procedures for client. This job is suited for someone with great communication skills, strong aptitude for analyzing data and drafting documentation/procedures, and great business acumen.
INSURANCE PROCESS ANALYST DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interview client personnel and review information to ascertain what tasks, systems, methods, and onshore or offshore personnel will be needed to enable effective operational processes. This involves staying current on insurance operational best practices and technological developments that can help to automate and streamline processes to help client perform more efficiently.
Gather information that can be used to develop process mapping and flow charting. Meet with client to help them document any valuable information and to determine the business goals that clients want to achieve and work towards.
WRITING DOCUMENTATION AND PROCESS MAPPING
Apply knowledge of business process modelling and present procedure and process documentation to stakeholders that is high quality and utilizes onshore and offshore resources most efficiently. Further discussion, refinement, and opportunities to outline how processes and performances can be improved may be required.
INSURANCE PROCESS ANALYST SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Should have great interpersonal and communication skills, be comfortable using different workflow mapping and procedure development programs, and have excellent document producing abilities. Bachelor’s degree required with the following abilities:
* Analytical skills
* Communication skills – work closely with client and colleagues to gather information; strong verbal and written communication skills required as well as good listening skills
* Computer knowledge – proficient in using analytical programs, spreadsheet software and flow-charting tools
* Problem-solving abilities – think creatively to solve clients’ problems, strong troubleshooting skills
* Writing skills – excellent writing skills to produce high-caliber work product
