Description

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:

• Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
• Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment including I-9 record retention.
• Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
• Assist with onboarding new hires for all companies.
• Assists with processing of terminations for all companies.
• Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
• Assist the department with reporting HR metrics.
• Assign required training to employees and performance tracking.
• Files documents into appropriate employee files.
• Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
• Prepares new-employee files.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Profile

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration.
• 1 year experience in HR or HR intern previous experience.
• Working understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Very hands on, comfortable completing administrative tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must maintain confidentiality, discretion and integrity.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in high-paced and at times stressful environments.
