Housing Choice Voucher Program Manager (M/C 20)

Hiring Rate: $65,375 – $80,934 after 20 years

Oversees all aspects of the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program including: applications, waiting list management, admissions, landlord outreach, inspections, re-certifications and terminations. Supervises department staff and prepares program reports. Represents the Housing Choice Voucher Program in the community.

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years full-time paid experience; or as Associate’s Degree and four (4) years’ experience; or a High School Diploma and six (6) years’ experience. The position is being filled provisionally (the candidate will have to take a NYS Civil Service Examination at a yet to be determined date and score in the top three to be considered for permanent appointment).
