As our Head of US Retail Channel Marketing, you will develop and implement marketing strategy for Macquarie Investment Management’s retail sales channel via Delaware Funds by Macquarie and separate accounts. In this role, you will focus on 3 key outcomes: Channel Growth Strategies (Digital enablement, Lead Engagement, Revenue Generation, Practice Management). Brand Engagement (Awareness, Engagement, Lead Generation). Sales Enablement (Field Support): It will require from you to collaborate closely with our Distribution, Key Accounts, Product and Marketing teams to deliver the best product, content and value add solutions to Advisors and their Firms. Specifically, you will: Provide a key leadership role for retail channel marketing. Collaborate with key business partners across Marketing, Brand and Product to create industry leading marketing content, campaign strategies and sales enablement programs that seek to increase brand recognition. Drive channel marketing efforts focused on home office gatekeeper relationship building and advisor engagement. Create innovative campaigns across digital marketing (paid and organic), CRM, media, publisher partnerships, digital events, and sales enablement integration. Ability to integrate data-driven learnings into actionable campaigns. Experienced with content syndication through martech tools and publisher agreements. Partner with retail Sales and Key Accounts teams to translate channel and firm business strategies and initiatives into marketing plans, campaigns and collateral that drive market share and Advisor loyalty. Drive new and enhance existing practice management and value add programs to help differentiate Delaware Funds by Macquarie’s capabilities in the US retail channel. Closely collaborate with Distribution to develop and execute client engagement model. Target support for focus distributors (model/platform placements/home office initiatives/research alignment). Make effective and collaborative use of various marketing tools such as email, social, paid content, webcasts and advertising to create a consistent and client experience: To be successful in this role, you will bring: Experience with people management, leadership and driving a culture of inclusivity. Strong knowledge of relationship marketing including direct and digital marketing practices to drive new and existing advisor relationships. 7-12+ years intermediary asset management and/or consulting experience. CFA designation a plus. Strong working knowledge and experience supporting Key Accounts or Strategic Relationship Group’s in their efforts to drive platform placement. Insights and perspectives on advisors by firm and by channel—their motivations, buying habits. Experience working with financial advisors with a strong understanding of how they operate. Strong understanding of Wirehouse, Independent, and RIA channels. Demonstrated success in working with multiple sales forces. Experience in building thematic and highly targeted solution-based campaigns. Demonstrated success with integrating marketing and sales around common goals and objectives: Your other attributes will consist of: An ability to manage relationships with senior level stakeholders. A Sense of urgency. Bring passionate in creating content that drives action. You have strong content skills, particularly in terms of investment content. An ability to think beyond the current channel segments. You can envision advisor engagement that extends and complements personal sales. An ability and desire to work and influence multiple roles across the organization. You are naturally collaborative across Distribution, Key Accounts and Product Management. An ability to interact well with and inspire confidence of senior management. Being an excellent presenter. An ability to develop dashboards and measure success of marketing efforts. Having experience with deploying value add programs. Demonstrating passion for the asset management business. Possessing a Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred, CFA preferred.
