Foundr Media is looking for a Freelance Producer to own several major video projects (Online Courses) over a 6-month period, with opportunity to extend to full-time.

Over 1 million entrepreneurs consume Foundr’s content every month for advice on entrepreneurship, marketing and startup growth. Our magazine features founders such as Sir Richard Branson, Arianna Huffington, Seth Godin, Gary Vee, Tony Robbins and many more; and we’ve produced online courses with the likes of Daymond John, Alexa Von Tobel, Nick Shackelford, Gretta Van Riel, Oli Gardner and Joe De Sena.

With an online community of 4 million+ of entrepreneurs and 35,000 premium students across 20+ online courses, we are growing our NYC Education Production Team to satisfy an explosive demand for more in-depth online courses taught by true practitioners (no gurus).

The Foundr team is hiring a Video Content Producer to work on a freelance project basis (6 months, with the opportunity to extend and even go full-time if things go well!). You’ll be dedicated to producing online courses to help entrepreneurs start and grow their dream business.

We’re on a mission to build the world’s best online school of entrepreneurship, and as Foundr’s newest Producer, you’ll play a key part of this program’s success.

You will work closely with Foundr’s Education Production Team Lead, and collaborate with Foundr’s Growth & Marketing Team abroad, and you will have the opportunity to “own” the success of your projects from start to finish.

We’re looking for a producer who can

• Manage the full A-to-Z process of online course creation, from concept to execution, owning at least 2-3 major projects (Online Courses) and carrying them through all stages of production.
• Craft actionable course content in collaboration with Foundr’s instructors who are masters in their craft, and design a lesson structure that’s engaging and pedagogically valuable.
• Coordinate with vendors, rental houses and freelance crew leading up to shoot.
• Act as on-site Producer/Director during shoot days, guiding the video crew and prompting/interviewing the instructor to extract the most valuable content from their brain.
• Oversee post-production reviews – checking all video lessons, writing slide copy, consolidating feedback for the editor, and working with in-house Motion Designer / Editors to add visual appeal.
• Take direction and guidance from Foundr’s leadership team to understand and execute on Foundr’s brand standards.
• Work within a production budget, and have a solid understanding of scope and scheduling.
• Assist with pitching and securing new instructors among the greatest entrepreneurial minds in the world.

Requirements

• 3-5 years work experience overall in the Video/Film/Media Production space.
• 1-3 years professional experience in any of the following Online Course Creation, Instructional Design, Educational Content Production, Documentary Filmmaking.
• Background in online education / course design is preferred. The right producer should be able to hit the ground running and take full ownership of the success of their projects.
• Demonstrated ability to interview subjects in-person from behind the camera (especially influencers, thought leaders and industry celebs).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Determination to deliver – on deadline, within budget, and at an extremely high quality.
