The Executive Chef is responsible for overall controlling of the food preparation process and any other relative activities. This person will manage the daily operations of the kitchen and assist in ensuring that all food and labor cost goals are met. The Executive Chef will oversee the development of menus, food purchase specifications and recipes. In addition to the technical duties listed below, the Executive chef’s primary responsibly is to grow and serve as a leader to the residents and with the staff at City Mission. This person is strongly encouraged to meet, pray, encourage and provide spiritual care and mentorship/discipleship to the residents and staff that we serve. This person will also develop and maintain strong working relationships with all other departments in the organization.
